Maharashtra Minimum Wages Under Factories and Shop & Establishment Factories Act, 1948.  Minimum Wages Act applicable to all over India except Jammu and Kashmir. It applies to the employment if it employs 50 or more employees in the state. It is not applicable to any employees in any Central government or of the central railway, except with the consent of the central government.
